Our Managing Director Roland Bischof was on a double mission in January for a 10-day stay in the Qatari capital Doha. For our agency as well as for the German Football Ambassador, the non-profit association he founded (www.fussballbotschafter.de). Besides several official appointments, e.g. with the Qatari ambassador HE Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani visiting FC Bayern Munich in the Aspire Academy and the Qatar Olympic Academy or meeting the president of Paris St. Germain at the Supreme Committee for and Delivery and Legacy, where he is also vice-president. Bischof has known the country since 2005 and has been there more than 60 times. His conclusion: „The opinion of the Germans about Qatar differs greatly between those who visit the country openly and without prejudice or live there, and those who „know“ it only from the media.“
