For the first time, the Albanian Sports Ambassador (ASA) was awarded in Tirana. A great project, which has been very well received in Albania and by the Albanian population and was also broadcast live on TV. High personalities from sports, politics and culture have announced themselves, among others Prince Leka Reza of Albania. As role models and image bearers, Albanian sportsmen and coaches represent their country worldwide in their sports and have a positive influence on the reputation of Albania. The ASA awards the commitment and their achievements annually in four categories and also supports social projects at home.
Honorary prize: Three public figures are nominated who have shown great commitment to sport and projects related to Albanian sport.
Audience Award: Six Albanian athletes who are active abroad are nominated. Voting is carried out by public voting.
Newcomer Award: The Newcomer Award honours athletes who have positively influenced the reputation of Albania early in their career.
As one of the main supporters and gold partner of the new Albanian sports ambassador, PRESENTED BY GMBH, CEO Roland Bischof is sometimes one of the three founders of the ASA, assists with the organisation, marketing and the actual event, the award ceremony.
